Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been taken to a hospital in Sao Paulo with belly ache, in response to native media stories.
TV community Globo confirmed photos of the 66-year-old disembarking from the presidential aircraft on foot along with his entourage after touchdown in Sao Paulo at about 1:30am (04:30 GMT). He was then taken to the Vila Nova Star hospital, it stated.
Globo quoted Bolsonaro’s physician, Antonio Luiz Macedo, as saying Bolsonaro had abdomen pains. In response to the UOL information website, Macedo stated the president would endure a number of checks to look at his stomach.
